8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel. After short drive, start visiting first place named Tran Quoc pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in Hanoi. Then, visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, the One-Pillar pagoda. Continue on to visit the colorful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Viet Nam in the Ethnology museum, the biggest museum covering about 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Have Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter and relax. Then visit a sacred place to recall President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career in Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Stilt-house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1958 to 1969. Located to one side of the Mausoleum is the unique One Pillar Pagoda. Built in 1049, the structure has become an important symbol of Hanoi. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070.
